I'll never know whether the outcome of my labor and delivery was due to negligence or a freak accident. As nice and pleasant as Patty was, I feel her ego got in the way of her judgment and she wasn't willing to bring the OB on rotation into my room for a second opinion when my labor wasn't going smoothly. In retrospect and after reading my medical records, there were signs present that I was having a medical issue but because my baby wasn't in distress, my health and wellness was ignored.
