Dr. Patricia Bailey, OD

Recently, I had floaters suddenly appear in my left eye. After a Google search, I learned that my symptoms were serious and could potentially lead to a loss of vision in that eye. Worried, I called at least 8 eye doctors in the area from Live Oak to Gainesville Fl. After confirming my insurance was acceptable, I explained my situation. In all cases, I was informed that there were no openings in their schedules. Wait times ranged from 4 to 6 weeks. Some of the facilities I spoke with acknowledged the seriousness of my situation but still would not see me. By sheer luck, I made contact with Dr. Patricia Bailey. She is the Dr. at Optical Outlet in the Lake City Mall. It was after hours, but she told me to come in the following morning. I did, and even though they were fully booked, she saw me right away. Fortunately, my situation was not a threat to my vision. To my mind Dr Bailey is a true heroine who has not lost sight of the mission and what it means to be a Dr.Thank You Dr Bailey!
