I hope she has gained more expertise and compassion since I saw her in 2016-18. Her bio says she was a surgical nurse who understood the connection between stress during surgery and mental health. Our time of interaction was interrupted by her pregnancy, and when she returned, she was not only unsupportive and unhelpful of my over-the-top anxiety about my upcoming surgery, she was punitive and irrational because I wasn't handing my medications well during that pre-surgical time when she was absent. Duh! Of course I wasn't. She continued being punitive by not renewing another medication that is meant to be helpful in anxiety but is not a controlled substance. She did this when I called her for a renewal the day after surgery. She now says she is specialized in OCD. Well, she wasn't at the time I saw her, or she would have understood how my OCD and anxiety made my recovery from surgery a hellish experience. Fortunately my neurologist stepped in and helped with medication.
