I had a good experience here. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. My psychologist really helped me, and I already set up my next appointment.

A coworker recommended this facility as the staff is friendly, and the psychologist has an excellent reputation. Having a pleasant experience, I will continue therapy at this establishment.

Great experience visiting Dr. Vining at The Psychology Clinic. He is a Christian psychologist at this family run business. He has an uncanny ability to teach with parables and help you see things in a totally new light.

it was awful. he was condcending and rude. he refused to listen to how I was feeling and instead told me how I should have felt. refused to let me see a woman instead. made fun of things I said till I just got up and left the office. worst experience of my life with therapy.

He exceeded all expectations that we had for therapists. "I'm going to tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear." He was right and I can say that we have a better life now than before our visits.

Great experience at Dr. Vining's office (The Psychology Clinic). We are warmly greeted, our sessions start on time, and he is extremely patient with children and in answering parents' questions. Collaborative goals are established and frequently monitored. If you are looking for behavioral options over medication, this option is certainly worth considering.

Friendly staff greeted us upon arrival. The appointment started on time, and Dr. Vining had already read our file. We spoke about our child's concerns, and he listened intently. Then, he started small talk with our daughter. As she began to relax, he asked when she last cut herself. What was he talking about; our daughter doesn't cut herself. "Earlier this week," she replied. We were speechless. How he knew to ask this is beyond me, but he explained that our daughter seemed overwhelmed with anxiety and lacked adequate coping skills. She reverted to cutting herself to gain a sense of control and override the emotional with physical pain; something she could handle. We took her every two weeks to therapy and saw steady improvements. He taught her coping skills that didn't involve medicine. Dr. Vining is VERY behavioral, but it worked, and that's all that mattered.

Dr. Vining has a deep understanding of the brain and behavior, but is able to put it in words that others can more easily grasp. He is very good at connecting with people, the lead psychologist at The Psychology Clinic, and our first call if our child needs help again.

The Psychology Clinic has helped us tremendously. We PCSed from Fort Bragg and needed a child therapist for our boys. The staff was professional and friendly, we were seen at our designated time, and Dr. Vining was incredible with the kids. Not only did their behavior improve, but he taught us how to better work with ADHD and defiance. The change is our home is welcome.
