Nylene is very policy oriented and not patient oriented. Her bedside manner is lacking, joking about things that are seriously sensitive during appointments. As a midwife I expected better. I also expect that if I ask a provider for the research to back a recommendation they will share it. Instead I was meet with, "it's policy." Well that policy goes against evidence based care. She also is very pushy of pitocin, something I didn't feel was necessary (it wasn't) except to speed things along so my baby wouldn't be born middle of the night. I happily gave birth at 1:12 am . I still feel like she made sure to not let them disconnect the postpartum pitocin (that I didn't consent to and according to my blood loss was unnecessary) for a lengthy amount of time because I refused to have pitocin in labor unnecessarily. Glad she is no longer in our area
