poor attitude

Made an initial appointment for 16-year-old daughter and was asked as a parent to come in for an initial screening. I called 30 Minutes prior to my appointment to notify that I would be 15 to 20 minutes late And i received no call back. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the doctor whom runs her office out of a car wash, that Due to my tardiness that they would have to eat the bill for the missing time and I was given a indifferent somewhat cold, strange attitude. I felt like I was being scolded for tardiness yet I called to notify? Is it my fault the office is not properly staffed to handle phone calls. I definitely understand the insurance aspect and the financial aspect. The attitude and lack of positivity is inexcusable. Especially for someone who is a therapist and works with people on a daily basis. This service It’s for my 16-year-old daughter who desperately needs help.
