Disappointing experience
My experience working with Nicole was extremely difficult and left me feeling deeply distressed. Initially, she suggested ADHD medication for my son based on a single word, 'hyperactive,' in an evaluation for a different condition. When I sought her services for my own suspected ADHD, I felt my concerns and the evidence I presented were dismissed. Despite getting a formal evaluation confirming my ADHD, there was significant hesitation in prescribing stimulants, with a suggestion of a possible substance use disorder. As a patient, this caused me considerable emotional distress. Eventually, medication was prescribed, but with a requirement for pill counts, which contributed to feelings of self-doubt. This experience led me to question my diagnosis and caused me emotional distress. I did find another amazingly supportive provider who made me recognize Nicole's treatment of me was not ok.
