A doctor that listens and cares.
I had two brain aneurysms in March of 2017 as well as a bunch of other chronic injuries that I have been dealing with for a long time. I have been dealing with balance issues and other mobility and vision function issues as a result of the aneurysms and Nick has worked with me for almost three years to help me regain so much funtioning. Over that time he has also addressed a multitude of other chronic issues that I have had for many years and helped me honestly with a quality of life. I am also autistic and have had a lot of problems with doctors not communicating with me well in the past, but Nick has always taken the time to not only listen to me and my needs as a patient but also communicate to me on my level. For as long as I have a need for something to be better or improved or if I ever need it again in the future, he has a loyal patient in me for life. I appreciate all that he has done for me and would reccommend him to absolutely anyone.

Treated for multiple conditions
Dr. Nicolas Szczepanic has been been my physical therapist for five years. Having been originally referred to him for closed head brain injuries, he has continued to help me with multiple issues. I have required physical therapy for twenty nine years, which bespeaks my extensive experience with other physical therapists. Dr. Szczepanik deserves my highest commendation as a physiotherapist. Professionally, his knowledge base is superior. He always evaluates therapies with his depth of experience and education, yet discusses and applies innovative approaches. Personally, he is caring and kind with a pleasant sense of humor. A prospective patient can make no better choice than to have Dr. Szczepanic be their care provider.

Best Physical Therapist for Rare Diagnoses
Dr Nick has been seeing my daughter for about 4 1/2 yrs. When she was diagnosed with a rare terminal disease he quickly took to the books and researched as much as he could about her condition. He continues to this day to provide the upmost care and expertise to my little one as her body changes with regression. I swear she wouldn't be doing as well as she is without him. Nick has been a savior to my daughter . He's the best!

I met Dr. Nick about a year and a half ago. I had went to several doctors before him and had try lots of solutions to help get rid of the affects left behind by my TBI in July of 2019. With in the first visit He had gotten rid of symptoms that other doctors couldn't and seem to have an understanding that put me at ease almost instantly. I continued to get to know him and Dr. Jacob as they treated me. Nick is thoughtful and creative on how he treated me and met me where I was at. I have recommended him to many people who were told there was nothing else to be done and will continue to do so. I told them have they tried Dr. Nick? Because he helped me on my journey back to independence. I can't say it enough, Thank you so much for choosing this profession and for helping me in more ways than one.

I was referred to Rezac Physical Therapists, and just happened to be assigned to Dr. Nick. Best happenstance event in my life. I had seen another PT a few months prior, and felt I was getting nowhere. I was having residual dizziness and uneven vision due to a virus a year before which left me totally deaf in one ear and with dizziness when I would move quickly or stand. Dr. Nick listened, worked on specific neck and facial nerves and muscles, approached the situation professionally, and he taught me exercises to do at home which have all helped me get my life back. Thank you, Dr. Nick!

I was referred to Dr. Szczepanik (aka Dr. Nick) by Dr. Saxerud. Dr. Saxerud is an eye doctor who treats my vision problems, which were caused by a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Dr. Nick resolved the chronic neck pain I suffered with for over a decade, which helped with my vision issues. AMAZING! While in treatment with Dr. Nick, I contracted COVID 19 in mid March. Dr. Nick gave me several breathing exercises to help me with the low oxygen levels and breathing difficulties. He also instructed me on how to regain my stamina. The low oxygen levels made my heart race and I couldn't walk 10 feet without complete exhaustion. I can honestly say that even though it took 3 months to recover, I seriously doubt I would have done as well as I did without his help. I love how he listens and takes the time to explain the purpose of each exercise he gives me. I've worked with several physical therapists and I have to say he is the best. I feel incredibly lucky to have met him!

I am currently near the end of my journey of rehabilitation for a ACL Reconstruction on my left knee under the care of Dr. Nick. For anyone who is going to be spending 2-3 times a week for the next 6-8 months with a PT you always hope and wish to have a fantastic Therapist. Stop researching right now-Dr Nick is your guy! To say Dr. Nick is highly skilled therapist is a understatement. He is exceptional in his plan of care and really does care for all of his patients. He’s creative, easy going, a great listener and motivator and is so creative when it comes to exercises! ACL surgery is already a heck of a journey in itself, but Dr. Nick made it a lot easier with his guidance and practice.

Dr. Szczepanik worked on my upper neck in 2018 after a horrible concussion and he was about to completely fix my dizziness and tinnitus. I felt like he listened to everything I had to say about what I was experiencing and was able to treat me effectively. I highly recommend him! He’s wonder to work with and very kind. He’s skills are definitely unmatched! Hopefully, I won’t have anymore concussions but if I do I’ll be returning to him.

I went to Nick for a little over 6 months for Patellofemoral tracking syndrome. I had never been to PT before and was a little skeptical if it would help the pain I was in. Nick was awesome. He was very easy to talk to. I never felt rushed during my visits. You can tell it's important to Nick to give all of his patients the time they deserve for care. Honestly within the first month the level of pain I was in went down a huge amount. I can not thank Nick enough for helping me be able to do simple day to day movements again and without pain. Will definitely recommend him to anyone in need of PT.

Nic treated myself and my two boys 15 and 10. We were visiting Colorado Springs and Nic was kind enough to treat us knowing we weren't going to be there very long. I was having hip pain and he had me out of pain in under 2 weeks! My boys had issues with their necks and headaches. He is an amazing therapist and knows his trade. He worked really well with my sons listening to their concerns and treating them with kindness and respect. I felt confident that he knew what he was doing and he listened well. I would highly recommend Nic to anyone especially with neuro issues. He was willing to answer all of our questions. Our time with Nic was a positive experience and we left having been well taken care of out of pain and we made a new friend!

I have been seeing Nick for back pain. Just after a couple of sessions, it feels so much better. I no longer get sciatic pain in the glute. He is very pleasant and respectful. He is truly concerned about how you are doing and feeling. I recommend him to friends and coworkers. I work in Pain Management and we refer patients to him all the time.

My daughter has Lyme disease and has been seeing Nick for a while now. Hands-down he is the best physical therapist we have ever been to! I would highly recommend him to anyone! He is caring, understanding, extremely funny, and definitely thinks outside the box when it comes to challenging symptoms! even though my daughter is suffering and struggling often, he always finds a way to make her laugh! not only does he really know his stuff, if there is something that comes up that he is unsure of, he will research the heck out of it! After struggling so much with doctors in the past who seem to care less about the patient, it is so refreshing to see someone who actually cares and wants you to feel better! Other family members have also seen him and would recommend him as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Nick for anyone who needs a physical therapist even for more chronic, challenging issues. He is fantastic at figuring out extremely tricky situations and problems.

I was under Dr Nick's care for about 6 months. Very patient, kind and respectful. Sometimes funny too! Treats the entire body, and me as a person, not just one injured part. I've been to many physical therapists. He and Dr Megan are the best. I do not believe my progress would have been as swift without them.
