Terrible
I brought my 10 year old daughter into the urgent care and this PA walked into the room with her mind made up that my daughter did not have a sinus infection. She has had several, along with ear infections, and I know the symptoms but she kept cutting me off and interrupting. She didn't know that I also work in the medical field. She told me that if she wrote a prescription for antibiotics, her supervising MD would question it, so she wouldn't do it. She was more concerned for herself than my child. She also said she wasn't going to bother doing any testing for flu or Covid. She walked out of the room as she was finishing her sentence and I could hear her go into the next patients' room and loudly shut the door. I was flabbergasted by her blunt rudeness and that we paid a copay to receive nothing and waste 2 hours of time. I've never been talked to so rudely by medical staff and I would absolutely never recommend her. She needs to learn manners and listening.

Felt like she did not listen to me or care about anything of my concerns. This was my first time seeing a PA and I think I will only see MDs from now on. She needs a refresher in bedside manner

She questioned if I had the flu because my vitals and lungs sounded fine. Though I had a 99.6 fever at the clinic and 101.4 the night prior. Test came back positive. I also found out 4 days prior that I was pregnant, about 6-7 weeks along. However another concern I had I was spotting and some cramping. She berated me and laughed because I didn't have an Obgyn yet or taking prenatals. I told her I was waiting to ask the Dr. For a recommendation. Which she did not have any. Any time she would ask me a question she would continously cut me off so she only got 1/2 of the story and would try to make me sound incompetent. She then drew a diagram of a woman's internal annotomy, as she drew it she didn't explain the annotomy just the how it would be "bad" if the baby was "here"... she was referencing the fallopian tube and an ectopic pregnancy. The fact that this women didn't even have the decency to ask if I knew the female annotomy and assumed I was an idiot was unbearable. I studied kinesiology for 5 years. She told me that I should go to the ER and to get an ultra sound but they might not be able to see anything because the baby is too small? She never gave me any medical advice on what I could take for the flu symptoms or if the test came back positive if I would be prescribed anything. Also when she checked my ears she took the disposable attachment and threw it in the garbage, like threw it, across the room. I have never had such an awful experience. I'm so frustrated and may no longer seek help from UW. The first 2 nurses where great though.

Would not recommend this PA at all. I came to the urgent care with suspicion that I had pneumonia. The PA did not want to do an X-ray because she said my lungs were clear. I told her that I had a horrible cough and I had that feeling like something is sitting in my lungs but I couldn’t cough it out. Finally she agreed to do an X-ray and it turned out that I had pneumonia. Had I listened to her and left the office without a prescription of antibiotics, my pneumonia could have ended up badly. I didn’t receive good advice from her. Very disappointed that those kind of specialists are the ones treating us.

Neszta Wahmhoff was so incredibly thorough with my symptoms and diagnosis! She was kind, empathetic, and open, while also knowledgable and decisive. Best urgent care experience I've had in 20 years of living in the area.
