Neil Cervera Jr, LCSW

I had Neil as a Therapist for many years and I can honestly say his sessions were excellent for me. At that time I was living in Troy, NY and have since had a major life change. I found him to be very professional, insightful and profoundly helpful in dealing with my problems. I can't thank him enough for his kind, caring and nurturing way. Honestly, he was like a big brother to me in the best sense. I've had other therapists, but he was by far the best of the best. I miss our sessions and would highly recommend him to anybody who needs Counseling. My life today is better because of him.

Dr. Cervera is very kind, compassionate and most of all successful in helping you resolve the issues that have brought you to him. Wyatt, the therapy dog is an asset to his practice. I have sought his services on several occasions personally and more recently for my son. He has always been accommodating and has helped us both work through our concerns. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking help to help themselves!

I have to disagree with the other comment. I think Dr. Cervera does care about his patients and I also think he's actually quite accommodating. His therapy dog is a wonderful cutie and I didn't notice any smell. Yes, the dog is allowed on the furniture but I don't see a problem with that.

STAY AWAY!!! This is a doctor who offers a very poor quality of care and makes it very apparent he doesn't not care about his patients. He has a dog in his office that is all over the furniture and smells AWFUL (and mind you I love dogs). He does not care so much with what you have to say and is a "my way or no way" type of guy. His office is very outdated and run down and suggests that Neil has no regard to the condition of his practice so long as he is generating revenue.
