A sight for sore eyes
When planning my first birth 10 yrs ago, I met Myra when she worked in Maryland at a birth center. She was easily my favorite midwife at the center and I always looked forward to my appointments with her. When my water broke and I showed up at the birth center, I was so happy to see that Myra was the midwife on call. I was instantly at ease and birthed my daughter in less than 2hrs. I ended up having a beautiful, easy, calm birth. A perfect birth. And I've been forever grateful that Myra was a part of my first birth experience.

The best!
Myra delivered my second son and helped me achieve the birth that I dreamed of! She advocated for me to be able to stay in the birth center while closely monitoring me to make sure me & baby were safe. She had a very calm presence and was so encouraging throughout my entire birthing process. Even a family member who was in the room has commented several times of how gentle and calming she was. Truly a godsend! I wanted to avoid another hospital birth and do things naturally and I 100% believe that never would’ve happened if Myra wasn’t my midwife that night. I will be forever grateful! She was excellent from start to finish.

She saved my sons life
Myra was amazing, caring, compassionate and is quick on her feet. When my water broke she checked to see how much I was dilated, when doing so my son’s cord fell into her hand, she called the RR code and was able to keep his head from putting pressure on the cord until they got me to the OR, during this time she is giving orders and reassuring me that everything will be ok. I can never repay her for what she has done to keep me and my son safe

Horrible, rude, literally the worst
Myra was my 'Midwife' while I was in labor and was absolutely horrible. Midwives are supposed to be supportive of mothers and their wants and needs, and support a more natural route when it comes to giving birth. This woman is the complete opposite of that. She wanted to induce me immediately after my water broke and had an attitude when I said no. She continued to have an attitude and was extremely rude to me the entire day. You could tell the nurse didn't even like her. I was SO thankful when her shift was over and so glad she was not there when baby was born. I would literally rather give birth in the parking lot than have this woman as a 'Midwife'. Nothing like being in the hospital about to give birth to your first child and being treated like absolute trash. I fully plan on having any future children elsewhere so I do not have to take the chance of meeting this woman again.
