I cannot recommend Dr. Matherne enough. Truly, she is hands down the best therapist I have ever worked with, and I hope she never retires because I honestly cannot imagine myself going to anyone but her. Not only has she helped me in my personal life, but she has also had such a profound impact on my professional life. Thanks to her, I am lightyears more confident and organized than I was before we started our sessions. Whether I am feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or caught up in overthinking, talking to Dr. Matherne instantly makes everything feel simple and manageable. She has a remarkable ability to break down complex issues and help me see things from a clearer, more positive perspective. Plus, she is also incredibly easy and fun to talk to. Highly recommend.

I had the misfortune of getting this lady as a therapist when I was around 11 years old. She was extremely dismissive of pretty much everything I told her. I confessed that I had feelings for both girls and boys, and she told me that I was going through a phase and that I would change. I told her that I was hearing voices. Her response? I was making it up and looking for attention. She seemed unfazed by the abuse I described as well. All she seemed to care about were my grades. Ten years later, I was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder and I still have feelings for girls. Knowing that I could've gotten better help and started my recovery earlier makes me upset. Don't expose your children to this woman. She isn't interested in your recovery, she wants your money.

Only therapist (out of 7) I've seen in the last five years who made any progress with me. So amazing, such a great person, and hard on you when you need her to be. So happy I found her and CBT works wonders if she's the one in charge!
