I found Monica to be very helpful with my family issues. I'm not sure where the negative complaints are coming from. She seems to have a busy private practice and I appreciate her evening and weekend hours.

Needs to talk less and listen more. Very quick to try and “solve” the problem without listening more and allowing for processing. Also cancelled on me twice, both within less than an hour of the appointment.

Monica did not help me and my husband. She did not control the counseling session. She let my husband talk for the first half hour and the last half hour I had to be on the defense between her and my husband. I knew this would not work out on the 4th appointment when she asked me, "Why do you lock the bathroom door when you go in the bathroom?" Believe me, we have a lot more problems than me locking the bathroom door. By the way, my husband locks the bathroom door too.
