Monica Madsen made a really troubling time seem less stressful. Her level of knowledge and care made me feel like I was her number one priority and we would figure out a solution. In the end, she diagnosed something that baffled all my DRs and ultimately saved my life. I can’t thank her enough and wish more medical professionals lived up to her standards.

Monica treated my deep finger laceration at Alta Bates ER. She was thorough in evaluating potential nerve and tendon damage, compassionate to my pain, professional in applying local anesthetic, and efficient in sewing my finger back together, and followed up a few days later by phone. She is a credit to her profession.
