Dr. Matz comes across as a bit condescending, and while I feel she hears me I don't feel she really listens. My first prescription was off-base. Spent a lot of money on eyeglasses I couldn't see out of. I went back for another exam - with different results - and at that point I lost trust.

Dr Matz is a talented , attentive optometrist who was able to diagnose my condition quickly and with precision, perscribe the right medicine and I was a happy camper in no time. I highly recommend her.

My initial experience with Dr Matz was excellent. She was highly professional. She did not take any shortcuts with my 9 year old son's refraction. I felt comfortable asking questions and they were all answered in a way I could understand. My son's prescription has been increasing rapidly and Dr Matz discussed Ortho K as an option to slow myopic progression. However we settled on bifocals which also show promise slowing myopic progression in children and are more affordable.
