I am so grateful to have been connected to Michele during a medication transition. I remember our first appointment well because I felt seen as a whole person right away. She spent time getting to know me, my interests and life outside of just the medication and mental health lens. I felt like I could trust her right away. This is her first great skill: relating to people. Then, I learned of her next great skill in understanding medications and how to go slow in both decreasing and increasing as well as trying new strategies. She was knowledgeable and creative, while staying within the bounds of professionalism and standards. In working with Michelle, I have transitioned onto a new medication that helped me find stability, clarity and feel like myself again. Then, I have continued to work with her as my life circumstances changed and allowed me to then wean off this medication slowly. She never judged me and I never felt like she had an agenda, expect my wellness and wholeness.
