I’m type 1 diabetic and also pregnant. She was HORRIBLE to deal with. My a1c is almost perfect and i’m actively working to get it down and she said I was out of control and she couldn’t help me. I only had one appointment with her, aren’t you a doctor and supposed to help and manage me? She also told me to “lay off insulin” as if i’m not type 1 diabetic and that would hurt me and my baby? Very odd and I will never be returning. I did everything she asked and started eating exactly how she wanted and even sent picture and told her what else I got and she said it was perfect! But when I talked to her again she said I was choosing to not do anything she asked. She should NOT be allowed to “help” anyone with diabetes because she’s putting out awful and life threatening advice.

My experience with Nurse Camacho was terrible. She is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She speaks to patients like children. After leaving her office several times crying and my blood pressure so high, I decided to never see her again.

I had the worst experience with Nurse Camacho. She talks to you as if you are 5 years old and instead of making you feel as if you're in good hands, she berates you. I will never refer anyone to her. Her colleagues are wonderful, she how ever is not.
