Dr. Michelle Beck, OD

She was incredible with my daughter. My daughter loved her visits, Dr.Beck was very thorough and patient. At that time my daughter was a 2.5 year old.

I was very dissatisfied with our experience overall. My son, who is two, was recommended for an eye exam for farsightedness. Dr. Beck seemed to have little to no skills in examining children. There was zero patience, sensitivity or bedside manner to conduct an exam on a patient his age. Her solution to get the exam completed was to ask staff into the room to hold him down while he screamed. He has a severe speech delay, and had little to no understanding of what was going on. It was a traumatic experience overall. Two stars because were able to get into her office for an appointment right away, while other physician offices had 5+ months long waits. I now know why.

This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a medical professional! She literally said to me “get glasses, don’t get glasses, I don’t care.” I had to prompt her to give me a recommendation and that was her response. I waited for three hours with a 6 month old to have her vision checked and that is the best advice she can offer?! We will be getting a new referral from our pediatrician and we will never be returning to this office.
