Despite actively trying to be present for every session, and some genuinely good moments, I’ve since learned that following my break up Ms. Ahmed told my partner that she was concerned for her safety as she believed I was a Narcissist with Borderline personality disorder as well. Ms. Ahmed never mentioned the diagnosis to me once, but felt the need to pass that diagnosis to my partner at the time. I’ve been seeing my individual therapist for around 5 years now, and he assured me that I am neither of those things. Additionally, he shared with me that he believes her practice & diagnosis was “unethical”. I would not recommend this person, as they formed what I believe to be an unhealthy relationship with my former partner.
