Dr. Michel Kammer, OD

Dr Kammer has been seeing me for several years after getting my eyes fitted for contacts to help my keratoconus condition. Since then she has been there for each follow up and adjustment. Her demeanor is easy going and she is a pleasure.

I felt Doc Kamer was wonderful. She was very patient helping me to get used to a new type of lens. She’s also a bit of a babe.

Basically called me a liar that my vision in one eye went blurry overnight 3 weeks ago. Said she "had a hunch" that it didn't happen 3 weeks ago and that I only just noticed it at that time. I assured her that this was not the case but she still dismissed my point. I then asked her if it was common for this sort of thing to happen so quickly. She said, "it's not uncommon for people to TELL me that." In other words, what I'm sayin is not medically feasible based on her diagnosis and it's all in the heads of her patients... Given the fact that she was so dismissive of my personal experience in her diagnosis, I would not recommend her nor would I go back. I still have concerns of the rapid nature of this and she did not address that.

Dr Kammer worked with me to achieve a comfortable fitting that corrects my vision nicely. I have Type 1 Diabetes, so vision correction can be tricky but she has done a great job. Have been working with Dr Kammer for three years at this point and hope to continue for many more.

Dr. Kammer was very knowledgable and experienced in fitting my scleral contact lenses. Only two fittings and we achieved all day comfort. She was able to correct my irregular astigmatism and introduced me to monovision, which enabled me to see close & distance without glasses. She went out of her way to fit me in, even giving up her lunch hour, and I never felt rushed when learning to insert my lenses.

Personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful

In the 32 years that I've been going to optometrists, she is the laziest one I have ever seen. I have seen her twice and both times the exams were half-hearted. Don't waste your time with her because she doesn't care.
