Dr. Michael Parker, OD

I have been going to Dr. Parker for about 10 years. He is a very calm and thorough doctor. However, the doctor's office is as good as the staff. The person that supposedly does the billing (which she only sends the information over to a billing company and I don't think that she grasps the concept) is very rude, and is not a people person. I am a senior citizen, worked in the medical field for over 30 years so I know how it works. They collect the deductible up front, she never submitted the information to the Billing Company so Medicare never knew I was there, so Mcare applied my deductible to another doctor. I went to explain this to her and she kept insisting my office visit had gone towards my deductible and when I asked her to show me the EOB, she said that 9 months was way too old, they had no record of it anymore. It took me a year but I got my money from Medicare. I tried explaining this to Dr. Parker but he wouldn't give me the opportunity.
