Dr. Michael Makher, DPT

I've been working with Dr. Mike for a few months on a lingering knee issue. Unlike doctors I've seen in the past, Mike took a holistic approach rather than just giving me some exercises to do. We worked on strength and flexibility in a style that made sense for me. His approach feels like the best personal trainer but the goal is healing and pain-free movement rather than personal bests. The sessions and environment feel anything but clinical despite my knee feeling better than it has in year.

Mike is by far and away the most effective physical therapist I've worked with. He has helped me to address several hyper-mobility injuries. He works to relieve pain and progresses to strengthen muscles at the root of the problem. I've seen massive improvements in my joint stability, physical confidence and with my daily comfort.

Would not recommend. I really wanted to find a good PT but Michael Makher just wasn’t it. When I asked questions, he just seemed super condescending and annoyed I was even asking him questions. I felt very awkward at uncomfortable afterwards.
