Incredibly knowledgeable, kind and warm
The most comforting Doctor I’ve ever encountered! I delayed going to the eye doctor for 5 days longer than I should have, initially thinking I had a corneal abrasion and it would be better “soon”. When I finally relented from the pain and light sensitivity, I made an appt with Dr Lessly, who fit me in the schedule even as a new patient. I am anxious around Doctors and was very anxious about what was happening with my eye. Dr Lessly was so thorough in the exam but also only did what was necessary, as it turned out I have an ulcer on my eye. He never made me feel bad for waiting too long, he only expressed care and concern. After he sent my script along, he realized he’d be out of office for the coming weekend and assured me he’d still be in town and the office would contact him if my eye seemed to be worsening so that he could come in. Truly grateful for the care that I received and excited I have an incredible new eye Dr!
