Michael Dutko, LPC

We had one initial couple's counseling appointment with Michael, and it went really well; he seemed like a great fit, and things between me and my partner immediately began to improve as we looked forward to our second and ongoing appointments with Michael. Then he canceled our second appointment and asked us to reschedule. We couldn't find a time that worked, so we just agreed to meet the following week. He canceled that one too... 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment. We rescheduled for after the holiday, and guess what? He canceled that one as well, this time 90 minutes before the appointment. And when my partner messaged him asking what was going on and whether or not he was able to commit to counseling us, he ghosted. Quite possibly a fine counselor. Horrible at communication, horrible at keeping appointments... this has been a real disappointment and setback for us. If you can't commit to your professional obligations for whatever reason, don't make yourself available to folks who need help and then leave them high and dry over and over. I cannot in good conscience recommend Michael Dutko to anyone due to his complete lack of reliability and commitment. I hope everything is okay with him, but he needs to stop accepting patients if he can't do the job right now.
