The first review is wrong. Mercedes does not have a dog. I have been seeing Mercedes since 2020. She has helped me so much with my mental health.

Unprofessional teleport visit with barking dog
I had a first appointment with Ms Bryjack and experienced a bad first impression. She did not verify our paperwork was I. Order prior to the zoom call, she boasted how she had the best support staff anyone could have, and she had her little dog barking in the background during our teleport session. How does one stay focused in a therapy session when their dog is underfoot and barking?

AMAZING!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mercedes. She is SO personable, I felt like I had known her for years after my first appointment. She is super knowledgeable, and is always doing research to make sure she gives her clients to absolute best care. She gets 1000 stars in my book!

In my practice, clients are actively participating in therapy via formal and informal assessments of needs, coordination of additional supports and developing an active treatment plan in the first session.  Clients are invited to reassess their progress and needs at 3-month, 6-month and 12-month period. 

biography

I received my bachelors degree in Language Arts and Psychology from Cleveland State University in 2010. I obtained my masters degree in counseling as well as in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Akron in 2014. I became a Certified Sex Therapist in August 2024 and am currently credentialed with the AASECT Board.
