Melissa is amazing! She has helped me to become a healthier version of myself that I will forever be grateful for. I would never see any other therapist than her!

The journey I've been on with her for the past couple of years has changed my life for the better in so many ways. She's incredible and respectful and eager to learn about topics outside of her usual 'wheelhouse' to better connect with a patient. Advice, when offered, is directly useful and of manageable effort. She also communicates upfront with you, asking what kind of changes you would or wouldn't want to see in your life.

Melissa is an amazing therapist. She makes you feel at home when you are with her . If you are in a dark place in your life she brings light to the table. Melissa is a great listener . I love how compassionate , understanding and straightforward she is . I would recommend Melissa to anyone that is having a hard time managing in their every day life .

Without her help, Im not sure Id be where I am today. Helping me understand more about why I do things and how I can create better habits has literally saved my marriage! Still a continued work in progress.. but Im confident we are heading in the right direction! Thank you Melissa from the bottom of my heart!

I have been seeing Melissa for two years now, after an illness. So much had changed and she has a way of helping me when nobody else can; She is very insightful. Melissa understands and is so kind and caring. She leads with her heart, which is so big. Best decision I made! In my new norm or uncertainty, I’m certain Melissa is amazingly helpful.

I’ve been going to her for over a year now. I’ve gone to many other counselors throughout my life. Some weren’t bad but I feel they didn’t get to the root issues that caused so much struggle and distress. Melissa is the first one that actually addresses those issues and is able to help me make real lasting progress. She helps me get from point A to point B without feeling overwhelmed in the process. I’ve made so much progress with her within one year vs others I had gone to for multiple feeling like I was going in circles. She guides me into the direction of actually making progress and it has improved so much of my life. I trust her and her advice more than I have anyone else I’ve ever gone to. I always leave my appointments feeling encouraged and accomplished on the progress I’m making. She allows me to have full control over the appointment and what we talk about but yet helpfully guides me when needed. I’ve gone by myself and for couples therapy. I couldn’t recommend her more.

With Melissa, I feel very seen and understood. One of the many amazing things she does is not only listen, but help you navigate your thoughts and find solutions in many forms that best suit you. It's really hard to find a therapist who is rooting for you all the way through, but also keep you accountable and help along the way. Melissa is one of a kind and absolutely amazing at what she does. She has helped me find myself and find the better parts of me. I couldn’t thank her enough for what she has done!

Melissa has really helped me grow and be able to see hope in life that I have never experienced in the past. She is very patient and really helped me see and understand my trauma. She has helped me be able to process and heal. She looks at therapy as holistic and not the surface level as many therapist have some in the past. Could not ask for a better person to help me in my journey to a happy and healthy life!

She’s understanding, listens, makes me feel at ease. She remembers every detail. She makes you feel like a friend that wants to help but has the background to be able to do it. I highly recommend Melissa.

Melissa has a way of making you feel comfortable immediately. She has assisted me in therapy sessions with my personal life but has also been a proponent for me outside of our scheduled appointments, encouraging me and offering assistance and guidance. She checks in and truly cares. Other counselors I have seen have not put in the effort Melissa has in sessions, much less outside the office. She makes herself available to her clients and has prioritized me when I hardly prioritized myself. She is an encourager, challenger, and true mentor. She is awesome!!!!

Melissa has a way of getting to the crux of an issue quickly & therefore makes a virtually immediate positive impact. She is comforting yet challenging and direct. So helpful!

I’ve been with Melissa for a little over a year. Best decision ever!!! She is kind and loving without any judgement and truly passionate about helping her people. I’m convinced Melissa is a life coach-therapist hybrid. I never want to do life without her! That said, this isn’t “smile and nod” therapy where the patient spills their guts and the therapist responds with questions. No, she helps you work through trauma with activities and trauma-informed practice. You will play an active role in your therapy and healing. The work she does is invaluable and effective. Trust me, I’ve got some serious childhood trauma and I will forever be grateful for the weight she has enabled me to lift off of my shoulders.

Melissa always finds away to fit you into her busy schedule. Not only that, but will always give you the most open-minded and realistic perspective that will help you ease your mind on any topic that you may need help with. Even when it may not be something you want to hear, she will enlighten you to better your path. I'd recommend Melissa, and I have, to anyone who needs therapy!

Mrs. Huston was knowledgeable, resourceful, compassionate, motivating, encouraging, professional and a great listener. She allowed me to decipher and truly understand what I had struggled with for years. Mrs. Huston changed my life and I will be forever grateful. She understands busy schedules and can offer visits in her office, face time or even by phone. She's very prompt in answering texts as well. She is exactly what I needed. She doesn't sugarcoat or just tell you what you want to hear. She is real and truly does have your best interest at heart. She made me feel like I was confiding in a friend instead of speaking with a counselor. Alot of people don't get me and my personality but she got me as soon as I sat down with her. It also helped that she is a Christian woman. I can't express enough how beneficial this was to me. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs counseling.

When I first started counseling I honestly didn’t know what to expect. After doing sessions for one I can honestly say I’ve seen soooo much progress! Mrs. Huston is the most realist & understanding person I’ve met! Nothing is sugar coded which if your not used to it may be weird, but I promise you will appreciate it in the end! I will forever have love & appreciate Mrs. Huston!

My sessions with Melissa were incredibly helpful on so many levels. She gave me tools to help cope and eventually overcome some of the issues that trigger anxiety. She helped me understand the sources the anxiety I deal with and shed light on the support systems I already had in place. Boundaries were a big issue and now I am more confident in setting those guardrails to protect not only myself, but my children as well. I am truly thankful for what I learned about myself with Melissa’s guidance.
