Melissa Busnot, LCSW

I started seeing Melissa in September for anxiety due to medical complications. She Is very welcoming and sincere. She allows me to talk and has an open dialogue. She has given me great tools to use as well as books that help. When I leave her office I feel like a weight has been lifted. She is very relateable and will take her time to help you even if your session runs a little over. If you are looking for a great therapist, I promise you will not be dissapointed.

I/we have been going to see Melissa for some time now. She is sincere and developes a trust that anything said or addressed in session stays there when its time to leave. No matter how escalated the session she is always able to bring me down , so I can leave feeling good. She helped save my marriage and overcome other issues.

We found the counselor was able to build trust with each of us and provide guidance to create a safe and open environment.

Some issues she addressed, however knowing that we were under summer time constraints to address certain issues, she dragged the sessions and was poor at getting those that are not wanting to communicate to open up. Also disregarded the idea of any meeting individually in lieu of group only attendance, even when we pre-sent emails with a list of topics to specifically cover during the next session, she avoided those topics and denied any time even 10 minutes out of 60 for individual meeting.
