My first impression of Melanie Troumbly was not bad. Though her attempts to be friendly and attentive were a bit forced, it was a welcome change from the previous doctor. However, that exaggerated kindness quickly left once asking typical medical questions that 'aren't for you to know or understand'. If that wasn't rude enough, I was then gaslit about my beliefs out of nowhere. I don't know if her dramatic shift came from a place of insecurity or whether she simply deemed me not worthy of being educated on matters of my health, what I do know is that such statements and behaviors are unprofessional, damaging and erodes trust.
