I am so glad to have reconnected with Dr. Ben Nissan. It had been 4 years since my last exam in 2015 and 6 since my last accurate prescription in 2015 (done by Dr. Ben Nissan at his prior location on South Beach). I made the big mistake of not following him to his new location in N. Miami Beach---and wasted lots of dollars trying to find a local alternative. Dr. Ben-Nissan is a "doctor's doctor"; an exceptional individual with warmth, compassion and gentility to match his expertise. His capable and professional support staff welcomed me back and his new space in N. Miami Beach is an oasis of tranquility. Thank you all.

BEWARE! This practice is NOT insurance-friendly and may NOT accept your insurance, even though it may be listed as a provider by your insurance carrier. It happened to me and another patient who was there for an appointment at the same time as me. In my case, the misinformed receptionist claimed that their office did not accept Aetna, even though BenNissan is listed as a current Aetna provider. As a result of this practice's misinformation, I have dropped this optometrist. He was OK, but no
