Maura Devereux, PA-C

When I had to change Insurances I had to find a new Primary Care Provider. Fortunately I was able to find an appointment, and took a chance with a provider and office I didn't know as new patient appointments were booked throughout the system till June.I was very please with my initial and follow up appointments. Maura listens well and hears key points I didn't think about. Even though my health is bit more complicated after an accident and getting older, she coordinated all that information and looked at me as a whole person and not parts. She revamped some of my medications and we worked out a plan for other things. A year later my lab levels are the best they've ever been, I'm not using the walker and my activity level has increased. Im so glad to be connected to a provider who looks out for my best interests and an office that takes care of me like family.

Maura took the initiative to admit me to hospital for kidney failure. Dr. that I had been going to see for over 20 years never told me severity of my kidney issue, and had let it progress to a level that Maura thought was concerning. It was. It could well be she saved my life. I would not have known, nor did I ever know, the danger kidney problems create. Without her intervention, I would still be unaware of how bad my kidneys were.

I'm not quite sure what's bothering Maura, but her performance is atrocious. She spends most of her time gate-keeping; trying to prevent you from getting information in a timely manner, even from other doctors you've seen. She doesn't appear to pay close attention to labs and just hand-waves away any potential issues. She also wants to be called "PA Devereux". Relax, take a deep breath, and remember that you're supposed to be helping people.

Very easy to talk to about anything! Very friendly and great sense of humor.

Maura is one of the best medical professionals I've ever worked with. She is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Her staff is also always incredibly friendly and helpful. I've really never had a doctor's office experience? quite like this. I truly feel like Maura and her team are there to help.
