Dr. Matthew Miller, OD

Dr Miller is extremely knowledgeable about AMD and very comforting even when he is very busy. He explains eye conditions so you understand and encourages you to ask questions and express concerns about your diagnosis. Wish I found him sooner.

He was quick. Did a lot of talking and not much listening. Even still, he explained the problem thoroughly. He was a likeable guy, friendly, and knew his stuff. I believe he cares about his patients.

Terrible. Did not do any exam himself. Spent time complaining about people being allowed to retire and that he did not have 6 hrs, to tell me about my exam. He was sarcastic and said he would have to explain to next patients why he was running behind when responding to my request for an exam to determine my prescription.

As soon as he step into the examining room he said" I'm going to be very upfront with you I'm having a bad day" At first I thought he was joking but he continued on saying how much of a bad day he was having talking excessively fast and wouldn't let me ask a question ..he was quite rude I didn't want to argue with him.. he was speaking so fast that I actually asked him if he was taking medication again he told me he was having a very bad day ..I did say if you having a bad day. I did say if you're having such a bad day you probably should have picked another profession or go home I wanted oh so much to get up out of that chair and leave but I desperately needed an eye exam..in all the 50 years that I've had routine eyes exams I I have never experienced a doctor like this! So instead of arguing i called my insurance company and filed a complaint Ive been seeing Dr Parrish and staff for years with no issues .what a shame how one dr.can change your mind
