I went in due to concerns about my knee. I couldn’t bend it was in excruciating pain that depilated me from working. When I went in not only her but the staff as well treated me as if I was there to score drugs. I wanted to be able to walk and return to work. I was told there was nothing wrong and I would get a shot me and made sure to emphasize it was NOT a steroid. Because people get high of steroids?? I’m glad I sought out another opinion. Turned out that that my meniscus was hanging by a thread basically and also had a cyst that was removed. If I wouldn’t of been profiled and the issue was taken seriously it could’ve been caught when I originally came in 2018 for the same issue. Surgery probably could’ve been avoided. This is why people go untreated or even worse end up dead because of malpractice and discrimination. If you’re not going to treat every patient case seriously maybe seek a different profession.

Mary dud a great job of listening to my issues that I was having with my knees. She took the time to explain my options in order to help relieve my pain. I would highly recommend her and all the staff there at the office.

I had been in pain since December and I waited til I couldn't any longer. They took x-rays then she came in and rub around on my shoulder where it was hurting. She pin pointed the area and did the injection. She was very professional and the office staff was too. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!! Thank you for stopping the pain!

My visit was very relaxed. Everyone in the office was very professional, courtious and friendly. Mary Telesky was very thorough in the examination of my shoulder and explained what my problem was. She gave me an injection of cortisone and made me feel comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend any kind of treatment to this office.

Went in Mary Elizabeth's office for pain in fingers. I was checked in in a matter of minutes. Waited maybe 5 minutes to get in an exam room. In less time than that, she was having x-rays done. After I was done with x-rays and returned to the exam room, she came in a few minutes and looked at my fingers and talked a few minutes. She was very concerned about what I had to say and listened to me. She was very pleasant to deal with. She then gave me her diagnosis and treatment plan. At that point, I was able to leave and go on my way. The whole process took 45 minutes. Very happy.

Shoulder issue that 'flares up' periodically. Mary Elizabeth listens attentively and has a definitive course of treatment for each patient.

I had my first appointment with Mary Elizabeth two weeks after my total knee replacement surgery. She was attentive, professional and kind during my visit, and I'm thankful she's a part of Dr. Gardner's practice at SWVA Orthopedics and Spine in Blacksburg.

Seen for ongoing knee and hip problems. She always explains things so that I can understand. She explains my options and does not push me to make decisions. I would highly recommend her to all.

Re-visit for on going knee pain. Waiting for the correct time for knee replacement. Mary Elizabeth does an excellent job keeping me going without having knee replacement. She understands the importance of knee replacement being the last option and my treatment is done with that in mind. But when that time comes I wouldn't want any other person besides Mary Elizabeth to oversee the process

I was referred to this hospital by Med. Express, where they suspected that I had fascia. I was in severe pain (up to level 9) and could barely work. All I got was a boot and a recommendation to get a scooter. I tried to explain the severity of my condition to the medical personnel that attended to me but she did nothing. And asked me to return in 2 weeks. I am currently receiving treatment in another hospital. This is highly disappointing.
