Went to Children's hospital just last night at the direction of my 4-year-olds PCP. Frightening symptoms of possible meningitis, retropharyngeal abscess, or a neurodegenerative disorder. I am an NP myself, but my specialty is critical care - definitely not pediatrics and definitely not my baby. Mr. Dancy was helpful, compassionate, informative, and more personable and relatable than I could have hoped. He care for my son during the entirety of his visit and thankfully he was diagnosed with pneumonia. None of the other scary possibilities came to life, and while that is certainly thanks to God, Mr. Dancy was used to give us some peace in a difficult time and diagnose the underlying problem. Awesome professional, awesome practitioner, and awesome dude.
