Traumatic experience
My PTSD significantly worsened from my experience with Marissa. She made my sessions primarily about herself and would criticize me in a very harsh way. If I got upset because of her criticism she would blame my diagnosis. When I would stop crying in session she would tell me she was proud of the progress I was making. I ended up seeing another therapist who was able to get me the actual help I needed and I am better now but the experience was very traumatizing and shocking.
