I am a 76 year old grandfather and took over the care of my 2 1/2 year grandson when parents had to work. Mariela was great. She patiently & insightfully helped his parents and me to develop strategies for his learning both English and Spanish. After only a few months, even with Covid restrictions, he is now exploding with new words, phrases and sentences, surprising us daily. Her professional and personable help has been indispensable. I highly recommend her.

Mariela worked with my son in English and Spanish, for just under a year and in that time, he made great progress! She is very knowledgeable in general but has a way off applying her expertise in a very personal and caring way. I as a parent learned, not only how to help my son in his language development, but also how to be better in my role as a parent. I learned how to play with my son in ways that are more educationally beneficial. I learned so much more about child psychology than I ever could have imagined and grew as a mother. Mariela shared freely and openly with our family, in her professional capacity, and during that time, she became like family to us. I highly recommend this therapist for your family.

Mariela is a therapist who cares for your child from day 1 and gets involved in any activity your child does to help express his/her speech and gives you the right tools/examples to explode your child’s communication in a daily routine. I highly recommend her to anybody that is reading this review. You won’t be disappointed! PS: My kid talks sooo much now and it took us less than a year to get him to talk this much

Mariela is super dedicated to her patients. She truly cares about making progress and makes sure you get the best tools to apply on your own as well. I have not seen many professionals put their souls into what they do as she does. I would absolutely recommend her and would give her more than 5 stars if they were available!
