Marianne Ecker, NP

After being told i had a massive ovarian tumor she referred me to a gyno oncologist with no information about what will happen next and what i should be prepared for, no instructions on what to do, and no comfort after i started crying. My chart says she instructed me on the risk of torsion but that was never discussed during the appointment. I had a prior cyst removed and it didn't seem like she had reviewed my chart to see this information. During a very fragile and upsetting time she made the experience worse than it needed to be.

I was having a persistent issue that couldn't wait for my regular practitioner to be available for, so I was struck with Marianne Ecker for the appointment. To say she was unprofessional is an understatement. She was very rude, very obviously did not believe what I was saying about the issue I was obviously having, and literally sighed before answering any questions I dared to ask her. Her "solution" to my problem was making me pay for a pregnancy test that I told her would be negative - but she "just want[ed] to check".

I've been going to Marianne Ecker since August 2011. Never rushes me, I feel like she actually listens to me, answers any question without making you feel dumb for asking.
