In the past few years, I have worked with several students with language-based learning differences. Earlier testing had no given an adequate picture of their needs, but Dr. Sutton’s assessment gave a more nuanced picture and helped me adjust the instruction to meet student needs. This created a positive outcome for the child. As an Academic Language Therapist, I have enjoyed working with Dr. Sutton because she is willing to engage the practitioner (with parental permission) to adjust intervention to improve success. I have referred parents to her for testing and they were quite happy with the results.

My Husband and I highly recommend the services of Dr Sutton. Dr Sutton tested our 2 sons, one who is on the autism spectrum and the other who has multiple learning disabilities. We used Dr Sutton for multiple evaluations for our sons spanning a 9 year period. She would take the time required along with being persistent and innovative in approach to provide the most accurate picture of our sons. She was very adept in bringing out the best when testing our sons who were both difficult to test.

As a retired public school principal and college administrator, I have found Dr. Ginny Sutton to be among the most caring, empathetic and truthful of all of those among whom I have worked.

My son is on the Autism Spectrum and has been seeing Dr. Sutton for several years. She is an amazing child psychologist. My son has come a long way since his first appointment with her. My son does not get close with many people and has a hard time discussing his feelings. Dr. Sutton is a master at her craft and has been able to help my son tremendously. She is very knowledgeable and has a specialty in autism spectrum disorders. We don’t know where we would be without her.

For the past 28 years, I have had the privilege to engage many families, evaluating and counseling children who have presented with complex issues that many other clinicians do not serve. My goal with families is always to use best practices and my recommendations are individualized to meet the needs of the child.

Poor, poor, poor... She scared my son. He said he would never go back to her. Her real name is Virginia Sutton or Ginny as she wanted to be called. My son said all she did was talk about herself.

This therapist's name is actually Virginia (Ginny) Sutton. She was the worst therapist I have ever encountered. She had my child got into a little trouble and was ordered to see a therapist. Dr.(? so called) Sutton convinced there was something wrong with her and that she shouldn't be ashamed of it. My child went from being a bright, confident, passionate young woman to reclusive. I believe Dr. Sutton is interested in repeat visitors as opposed to helping a person become well adjusted.

Dr. Sutton truly cares about and goes above and beyond in assisting the children that she treats. As a professional who consults regularly with school psychologists, I am aware the tests can take time to complete and the psychologists try and provide their best estimate of how long the report will take to complete. I would rather pay for a good report than a rushed report. Dr. Sutton is an excellent school psychologist.

She was hired to produce an evaluation that took double the time that she said she would complete. I took my child out of therapy with her due to her lack of professionalism.
