I've never given a physician a 1 star until now- she flat out refused to treat me when I wanted to come off my medication. I tried to explain to her that my therapist and I talked about how my depression was situational, but she said that there was no such thing and that my therapist of 10 years didn't know anything about depression. I left the office feeling angry and completely invalidated. I have never had a physician completely disregard my own knowledge of my health, it was very frustrating

"Doctor" O'Keeffe, as she lets her patients call her, was one of the worst providers I have ever seen. I have depression and anxiety. On my very first visit with her, I was in and out in about 15 minutes, with a new diagnosis of "bipolar disorder", and left with a prescription of Lexapro. When I told her I was feeling suicidal, she tried upping my dosage despite my father and me telling her not to, and to switch. When I acted on it, she told me I wasn't taking the therapy seriously. Avoid her!!!

DO NOT SEE HER! It really is a shame that she actually gets to practice. Most unprofessional licensed person I've ever seen. She actually said the opposite of what the best psychology and psychiatry journals say about modern medicine. She will make you sick,or drive you insane. Very ego driven. Does not listen. Very little awareness. Zero people skills. Very inappropriate. She lets people call her a doctor. She hugs and kisses her patients, then is cruel to others. Do not see her.
