Dishonest and greedy

First of all Mark Schlegel is not a doctor. He is a PA. I have been a patient for over 30 yrs. First few years I saw Dr. Rifkin, but have not seen him in years. Mark likes to impress people with his self knowledge which is often not related to why I am there. There has been a downhill slide medically over the years with him and his often rude office staff. He is condescending and rude and does not like it when you ask him or challenge him with another opinion. He does not return phone calls or emails which I cannot understand. I feel the doctor should be overseeing my care, but that never happens.

I've been a patient of Marc's for what seems like almost a decade. All of my appointments have always been timely and professional. My issues have been always explained clearly, and we have been successful in treatment. Dr. Schlegel is knowledgeable in a variety of topics and I've found he is better in his particular field, than other providers I see for other issues. I would recommend Sleep Medicine Centers and Doctor Schlegel to family members and people I work with.
