My initial meeting with Madison, went extremely well. I was somewhat hesitant of what to expect, but she what patient, listened to my tales of woe regarding weight control and being a pre-diabetic. She was very knowledge regarding nutrition and diet control management. She advised me accordingly to my specific lifestyle, age and food desires, we developed a plan. It is easy to put on the lbs, but HARD to take them off, as well all can attest, and we at times need assistance to better manage our food selection, portions. Maddy is one of the most empathetic and compassionate clinicians I have had the pleasure of meeting with. She actually cares about me as a person, not just a medical record number. Maddie's approach to nutrition is easy to understand and involves me; she does not just dictate what I can or cannot eat. Her office is very mellow and comfortable. If you have ever had a negative experience with a nutritionist or a dietician, I HIGHLY recommend seeing Maddy - she will change your perspective and make you feel good about yourself.

I met Ms Schenke as a result of scheduling an initial appointment with the endocrinologist at Jersey Shore medical. I wanted to learn more about how my diet impacts my diabetes. Ms Schenke met with me for 90 minutes and I was impressed with her knowledge and her general expertise. Miss Schenke showed me how to use my continuous glucose monitor to gain more insight overall in my glucose levels. She provided me with additional reading material as well as recognizing that my portion control is something I needed to get a better handle on in my journey of being more knowledgeable about my diabetes.

I met with Maddy during the second trimester of my pregnancy, newly diagnosed with gestational diabetes. She did an incredible job listing to my concerns, providing support and critical feedback, and helping me understand the power and opportunities that were available to me to continue on with a healthy pregnancy. She was knowledgeable, clear in her explanations, patient with my questions, and compassionate about my fears and concerns. I would absolutely recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for comprehensive and compassionate nutrition care!
