Madelaine Lott, NP

During my visit on Feb 26th 2025, I was a very sick with covid and was told to got to urgent care by a UAB chat nurse to get checked out because of my comorbidities. I told the nurse at Trussville Urgent Care in AL I was positive for covid and it had been aggravating my neurological disorders, service connected disabilities, and we went over that I have seizures (not epilepsy) and my meds. When the Madelanine Lott came in her voice was very loud. I covered my ears. I asked the her to lower her voice because it triggers my conditions. The provider did not lower her voice. I kept my ears covered. But needed to speak to ask questions because she was saying something very important about drug interactions and because of the overload of sensory input with my hands over my ears it wasn't helping. That required me to use my retraining techniques during our appointment, because my seizures had increased because I was so sick with covid. So, to help reduce the sensory input to my brain- I closed my eyes. While my eyes were closed, she was asking about my breathing and then... BAM! I guess something caused me to lose concentration and convulse violently out of my wheelchair, cause the next thing I know I'm on the floor with bruises all over me. My husband is in front of me leaning down trying to untwist me from the wheelchair, and I ask him what happened... and the Madelaine Lott is standing over me to my right asking if I need any help. Then my husband told me that M.Lott had touched me while my eyes were closed. I looked up at her and said "please never touch me without my permission or without warning again" or something like that. I thought all providers knew that. Uh? What happened to protocols? Anyways... it goes something like... but my memory is hazy at best... she says so you need help up?...I say I need a minute. But i can do it.. she says do you need help...i say..owwww... just a min... she says... are you sure...oww.. I'm. ooww like...i can do it... fine fine...i just need a little bit.....oww.. she says... I'll go put in your order for paxlovid and leaves me on the floor of Trussville Urgent Care. (I have neurological conditions ,FND,PTSD, migraines, PACT Act covered some , caused by my combat zone military service and my brain doesn't function properly, see attached photo) I work my FND plan, but am very disoriented and don't know what's going on. My husband helps me up into my wheelchair. I asked her to lower her voice she did not. She patted me on the shoulder when my eyes were closed & without warning and I told her I was a veteran and I was having seizures that day. She ignored me. M.Lott does not listen to her patients during their exam and can put you in danger. Be careful.
