Dr. Lynell Heatley, OD

She is approachable, thorough, and gentle. She took the time to make sure I understood my particular eye conditions and the appropriate treatments and recommendations. I will definitely refer my husband and friends!

This is my 13th year going to Dr. Heatley's office, I am her patient from San Francisco, Marin, and Sonoma.  Love her skill and demeanor so much I've followed her for years! Dr. Heatley has always been consistent in the level of service provided and most importantly the level of care with detailed information rendered during my exams. I have complete understanding of the procedures that I go through, the reason why we are doing it and the result of the procedure. She also provides advantages and disadvantages of the product (glasses/contact lenses) on the market. I truly recommend Dr. Heatley.

Not polite, talks over you and interrupts. Felt uncomfortable when seeing her for my check up. No customer service skills. Talk down and demeaning. She acts like she’s better than all - when she’s not.

First time eye exam and met with Lynell Heatley O.D. and was unable to complete the visit. I cannot attest to her optometry skills as her people skills are not acceptable for a customer service facing position. I voiced my concerns and upon my exit one of the customers indicated that she is difficult but a great optometrist. She is lousy with people and my advice is to find one that understands that customers are not the enemy and that understands caring for the whole patients and their needs.
