Best Optometrist in area

Our family is long time patient with Dr. Yen who is always so patient, so professional and so fun to be around. She is super knowledgeable and attentive and stylish when it comes to best eye frames in the area. The office frames are always so fashion forward and not dated like every other offices in the region. Definitely a go to place for your eye care needs. Regarding some that complained of insurance plans, it’s funny because insurance plans are just discounts and they never pay full, being in or out of network. The customers need to realize that when quality of frames are better, they just cost more. But quality products last longer and much better looking. It’s just worth it in my opinion.

Avoid this place. Please read my comments below for reasons. Short Story: Our insurance company is VSP. We received multiple confirmations from the front desk staff that "yes we are in network for VSP" before I start the eye exam and before I swipe my credit card. It turns out that they are not in network, and now they are playing dumb and insist on telling me to reach out to the insurance company to get reimbursed.

After weeks of going back and forth the Lucy Yen and attempting to obtain my children's records. I went into the office one day, Sept. 13, 2016, and was told to make an appointment in order to get a copy of my children's records. I agreed, then was told to have a seat in the waiting area and lucy would be with me shortly. Well, Lucy Yen never came out, instead while i was waiting, she called the SJPD, to report me being disruptive and trespassing! Her exam was way off when compared to our new Dr
