My grandmother was seen by this nurse practitioner for several years. My grandmother had issues with her stomach, could not go to the restroom on a regular basis. She constantly told this nurse practitioner of her issues and the only thing that was recommended was laxatives. My grandmother passed away due to her colon. I believe that her death could of been prevented if certain measures would of taken place.

My mother was seen by this nurse practitioner for many years. She complained to her about having issues of constipation all the time and pain in her stomach. The nurse practitioner only recommended laxatives every time. My mother just recently passed away due to issues of her colon. Medical staff are supposed to be professionals who practice by all means to do the very best in taking care of patients. This was not the case for this nurse practitioner.

My mom was seeing this nurse practitioner for a couple of years. My mom told her many times she had chronic constipation with bloatness, abdominal pain and discomfort and all she told her to take was laxatives. Never send her to do further testing, like send her to a specialist, do an MRI, colonoscopy, etc. And because of all that negligence, it is devastated to say my poor mommy passed away a month ago. She had a blockage in her large intestine, which is the colon that caused it to erupt.

Lori Rubio attended my mom for many years. My mom would constantly complain of constipation and bloating. After prescribing different laxatives that did not work, she would simply say to take whatever worked for her which happened to be a magnesium drink she would get at Walgreens. I remember my mom telling me she could no longer go to the restroom on her own and desperately needed to drink the magnesium to help her. Lori Rubio never gave her a referral to see a gastrointestinologist or get any exams done to see if there was any other issues going on that could be causing this chronic constipation. My mother died suddenly one month ago. Her colon was partially dead when she arrived to the hospital and she died from complications in her large and small intestine. For my mom it was too late. These issues could have been taken care of long ago with the proper treatments.

This nurse practitioner attended my sister-in-law for several years for stomach pain and constipation and the only thing she prescribed was pain medication and laxatives. She never had the inclination to have a sonogram or xray to find out that the real problem was a complete blockage in her intestine! After 2 surgeries, she passed away.
