My son had tubes put in the end of February. After a couple weeks, he was diagnosed with another ear infection at urgent care. During my scheduled follow-up he had been on antibiotics (oral) for three days and she continued to tell me there was no way he had an ear infection and his ears looked great. I tried to explain his temp was 101.6 and he had been on oral antibiotics for 3.5 days, so I would hope they looked great at that point because he was feeling better. She continued to tell me more about how tubes work and that there was no way for that to happen. I didn’t feel listened to. My son has had an ear infection EVERY MONTH for the past 6 months. I might not have a degree within the ENT field, but I know my son better than anyone else! I will not allow people with a piece of paper and extra education in the field tell me I am wrong. Unsure how I feel about Payton Manning Children’s Hospital moving forward.

She was HORRIBLE! She gives Peyton manning a bad name, I don’t know how she still has a job. She was confrontational from the moment she came in. My son is special needs and didn’t listen to anything me or my husband had to say, everything was brushed off and rude. I have seen 3 other providers in that office and been pleased. After this encounter my husband and I won’t be going back.
