Lisa gets results! A psychologist I saw used talk and Gestalt therapies, but I wasn't making much progress. Lisa treated me with EMDR and talk therapy. Pros: She knew just what to say to help me figure things out, treated me with understanding and respect, gave me studies to read and didn't say things that compounded my problem. EMDR worked really well. I'm climbing out of the PTSD hole! Cons: Little discussion of neurobiology of PTSD, but I was already well-informed, so maybe there was no need.
