Not for me
I had one session with Ms. Dubin through my insurance provider and I'm not going back again because Ms. Dubin exhibit her ignorance towards other minority/ culture appropriation when she recommended me to use dreamcatcher for my son's bad dream nonchalantly and suggested to get it from Amazon and it's cheap. What a horrible advice! I would hate for others to appropriate my culture (Asian) as well so I find it offensive that she would recommend appropriating other's culture that she's not in. Dreamcatcher is not a prop. it's a tradition and has a valuable meaning to first nation especially Ojibwe clan. One should take some time to learn it's meaning and values before even consider purchasing a dreamcatcher. And purchase it directly from native/ first nation people. Needless to say, I've dropped her like a fly.
