Lisa Blackwelder, NP

My husband and I have been seeing Lisa for several years. She is as patient as she needs to be; never makes us feel rushed and always answers as many questions as we may have. She is straightforward and honest, but always compassionate. Highly recommend. And as a side note, has the best office staff EVER!

Lisa and her staff were super attentive and unbelievably responsive when we contracted Covid on vacation She treated us like we were lifelong patients The meds she prescribed made me feel human again by the next morning Thanks Lisa and staff

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care I was provided on Friday, April 17, 2020. Lisa Blackwelder, NP and her assistants were very professional while being kind and considerate during the visit. I was suffering from an infection causing me great discomfort and Lisa was very patient and willing to listen to my concerns. She was very thorough while conducting the examination and ensured she completely appreciated my situation. She wrote a prescription for the medication needed and offered to follow up as needed to ensure my infection was resolved. I have been to numerous hospitals and have needed home visits for my medical care in the past and Lisa Blackwelder has been one of the finest providers I have had the privilege of knowing. Please share my gratitude with Lisa and let her know I hold her in the highest regard.

Mrs Blackwelder is very good with our kids. You can tell she really enjoys taking care of them. We love her.

Wow what a great doctor! Technically a nurse practitioner, but no doctor I've ever seen has ever been so thorough. She took her time and answered all my dumb questions. Will definitely be going to her next time.

Mrs Blackwelder is an excellent doctor (nurse practitioner). I have to laugh when I read the other reviews from patients that she "offended". If you are fat or smell bad, she will tell you.

Took our son in because he had a fever thinking it was just flu...after all everyone had it at the time. Turned out to be a much more serious condition and she caught it. Had we not taken him in or had the doctor not identified his condition its very possible he would not be with us now. Forever grateful to this lady.

Mrs Blackwelder is a git'r done kind of provider who doesn't sugar coat things. She will tell you like it is...which I appreciate. If you want straight talk, in plain english from your doctor, she's great. If you need someone to baby you and tell you its ok to weigh 300 pounds, I'd recommend you see someone else.

Never, was verbally attacking me , stating my perfume was overwhelming,needed to wait in the lobby told her I was offended since I wasn’t wearing any , she proceeds on to attack my husband if he is wearing perfume! She could smell it coming down the hall , to over powering just kept going on et on . Very rude , had to go to another urgent care just to get a ear checked .

She was very callous. She showed zero empathy and acted like I was some massive inconvenience. Then when I checked my paperwork, not all the information was correct. Seriously a let down. I will never let her treat me again

Great Integrated Medicine person. Super personal, spends time with patients, knows her stuff both allopathically and homeopathically.

Worst healthcare experience. Went to get an annual pap exam, but ended up getting 30 minutes of fat shaming and wheat belly diet propaganda. I would expect a healthcare provider to understand the difference between fad diets and a healthy lifestyle. Nope, just how she gained 10 pounds over the holidays from some egg noodles. Which tells me that her body has an unhealthy relationship with carbs. Good to know her education is well spent on fad dieting. Hate this provider, never going back.
