Linda Hardin, LCSW

I'm unsure about Linda as an individual therapist, but as a marriage therapist I do not recommend her. She dismissed so much of my pain and hurt with my spouse and told me to "just go pray about it". As soon as we began seeing another therapist, everything I was going through with my spouse was validated and changes began occurring. Very little progress was made with her. She judged my emotions during sessions as opposed to understanding the distress I was under. Lastly, if your partner has a problem with drinking, run far away, as the situation will get glossed over during therapy, especially if your partner denies it. I wish we would have switched to another therapist who "got it" much sooner.

Not sure how this woman is still in business. She was rude and disrespectful, and I felt extremely uncomfortable during my sessions. Definitely search elsewhere if you want someone who truly cares and is going to help you!

In my experience, Linda has a great balance of empathy and calling attention to areas of growth. I have found that she is excellent at assessing a dysfunctional tendency, but also uses great discernment in when/how to address it. I have found her to be available and accommodating to schedule changes, and professional. She seems to know her field well and I feel confident she would refer clients to other specialists if she felt it would better serve them. That gives me confidence in her care.

I feel like she's very unprofessional. Texted me about the presidential election assuming we were voting for the same candidate which was actually really upsetting since I don't talk politics in session. I never felt like she listened during season, rarely remembered a previous issue I was working through. I would often schedule appointments first thing in the morning and she was often running 5-10 minutes late, but also would cut my appointment off.
