Lidia Berrone, NP

My daughter started seeing her and like someone else mentioned, we sat in her waiting room for 1 and a half hours not knowing if she was even there. She has no receptionist. On the 2nd visit we again sat for at least an hour and towards the later end of that hour we could overhear her calling my daughter's phone which she did not have on her. She never bothered to come out into the waiting room. The 4th visit was supposed to be by telehealth and she never even called my daughter like she was supposed to. My daughter tried multiple times to call her to get another appointment scheduled and to get her medication refilled (the dosage was supposed to be increased), but couldn't reach her and her calls were never returned. She schedules appointments only a day before refills are out so there's little time for the pharmacy to fill them, and no room for errors such as not following through with her appointments. I would NOT recommend her AT ALL.

I saw Lidia a couple of times before moving on to a new provider. I one day waited two hours for my appointment, and she had no receptionist working for her so I just sat in the lobby aimlessly waiting on my second appointment not even sure if she was there. Since there was no receptionist, I one time emailed Lidia asking when my future appointment was, to which she didn’t respond for 2 wks. I then followed up asking again when my appointment was to which she responded “not in the office, you should get a text reminder a couple days before your appointment”. I never heard back from her until my next appointment. This could have been a me thing and not a her thing, but every appointment felt like my first appointment all over again. I have bpd and expressed to Lidia in one of my 4 appointments that I was looking for a therapist. My next session she never brought it up and asked the same questions. My initial visit also felt odd because she had “student” sit in that was shadowing her.

I love Lidia. I was so nervous during my first appointment but she put me at ease right away. I felt heard for the first time in my life. I would recommend her to everyone!

She repeatedly interrupted me when I was describing my experiences, was not interested in my history, redirected the conversation from what my concerns/goals were and instead kept trying to focus on other things, and did not listen to or consider my opinions. Maybe I should have given her a chance, but I couldn’t even bring myself to go back, and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.
